Dick, Thanks so much for the article by Dr. Adamson and a copy of Dr. Doniphan's will. His will poses a few questions doesn't it. What does "Polly Raiker's son Anderson designated to be my son" mean? Was he "like a father" or a biological father and not married to the mother? I have found my copy of a few pages from "Doniphan, Frazee Hamilton Families" sent to me by another researcher, Bill Bickell, who was researching Frazee, and on page 101 it states that Anderson Doniphan had "3 sets of children" implying (at least to me) three mothers. What do you think? Libby
