Everyone, I have transcribed a small diary of someone from Fauquier, who drove cattle for the Confederate Army. The diary is from 1862, but I have no clue who the author is. The only acquaintance listed in the diary who I believe to be from Fauquier was William Eustace. The diary covers about a month from April - May 1862, when the army was falling back towards Richmond. If anyone has anything to add or has more information, please let me know, and I will incorporate that into the information and repost it. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~tkreh/CWDiary.htm Thanks! Dear Tim, There should be a way to figure out through War records who this person writing is using in Fauquier Co. It would be interesting who this person is. I hope you are able to figure who this person is in time.
