The Florence family lived in Fauquier & Prince Wm Cos. in VA. The first Florence settler in 1758 arrived in Northampton. His name was Wm Flourance. Florence may be spelled Florance or Flourance as well as the more common Florence. Mine left VA and settled in Ohio Co., (western) VA - now West Virginia. Is anyone researching VA Florences?
