For those who might be researching the Constable family, you might try looking into Maryland records. The name is showing up in a few counties in MD, prior to the Revolution. Virginia has been a near dead end for me, except for the very early history of the colony--late 1500s to early 1600s--and a few entries in Fauquier in the late 1700s and very early 1800s. ****** Robert, Richard LEE, immigrant founder of the Va. LEES, married Ann CONSTABLE in 1641 in Jamestown, Va. Ann was the daughter of Francis CONSTABLE born 1592 in Datchet, Buckinshire, England. He died 1 Aug 1647 in Westminister, England of bubonic plague. I have more, none of it proven. Ann and Richard LEE were my ancestors. I do not know if Ann had brothers and sisters.
