Hi! For those who might be researching the Constable family, you might try looking into Maryland records. The name is showing up in a few counties in MD, prior to the Revolution. Virginia has been a near dead end for me, except for the very early history of the colony--late 1500s to early 1600s--and a few entries in Fauquier in the late 1700s and very early 1800s. My interest in this family is by way of my Harper family. The latest Constable I have is William and wife Mary, parents of Jemima Constable, wife of Isaac Harper. The Harper+Constable marriage occurred in Fauquier in 1787. Robert Schneider
