    1. [VAFAUQUI] Edmonds Family ca 1800 (Stray John or Thomas?)
    2. Chuck Edmonds
    3. I am still looking for a family for William "Billy" Edmonds (b. abt 1805) and Octavia "Tave" Edmonds (b. 1810). I still strongly believe they belong to William Edmonds (1763- ) and his wife Sally. William (1763- ) was the son of Capt. John Edmonds (1737-1798). Capt. John Edmonds was the orignial owner of what became Belle Grove now part of Sky Meadows State Park near Paris VA. I have just discovered that William Edmonds (1763- ) had two sons, Thomas and John. The tax lists prove this beyond doubt as they are identified as sons. The two sons were tithable age in 1810 and the census record confirms same. William also had two daughters, Jane and Elizabeth (confirmed by marriage records). Jane Edmonds husband, Wesley Brown (son of Daniel Brown), lived close to the Edmonds in Upperville - Paris area and is also found nearby in census and land tax records. Elizabeth married Francis Rollow and lived in Stafford County. I am trying to put William "Billy" Edmonds (b. 1805-1807) and Octavia Edmonds (b. 1810) into this family by way of some confirming reocrd. Billy and Octavia are definately related as confirmed by handwritten letters from the period which also definatively tie them to the Fauquier Edmonds. The 1810 census holds out hope that Billy and Octavia, belong in this family group. The family apparently leaves Fauquier in 1817 for parts unknown. It looks like Billy shows back up in Fauquier in 1824 and 1825, he then reappears in 1839 & 1840 in Kanawha County with Chiltons and Edmonds en route to their final destination in and around Boonville Missouri later in 1840. Do any of you Fauquier Edmonds researchers have a stray Thomas or John in their notes?
