Our records do show a Cornelius BUSSEY, born 18 Jun 1745 St. Paul's Parish, Stafford, VA, that is next door to Fauquier Co....but am not sure how that might fit in. Thank you. Recently, I've been poking around with associated names in the Jackson Purchase area of Kentucky. All those names are repeated down there in Calloway & Marshall Co, KY. They have different given names than reported here recently. Along with Bussey, Hurt & Smith, there are Utterback and many others. Its a small world, I suppose.
