Amanda: In reply to your query, the information I have is as follows: Jesse Thompson s/o William Thompson and Mildred (Jones?) (Harper?) married to Elizabeth Hurst, d/o James Hurst and Rosanna Jones. Children of Jesse and Elizabeth are: James Elias (Eli) Rosanna Milley Nancy Armistead William Jason Sally Fielding Dicey I have tried researching William and Mildred and have not had any success so far. I do believe, based on some documentation I have, that Mildred was from Maryland. I have copies of documentation mentioning a slave named Brianna who Mildred brought with her from Maryland. I searched in Prince William County records for a Will for Mildred and also in Fauquier County, where Jesse died. I hope that maybe some of this helps you.
