Jane, I am kinda curious about the Thompson line of your Jesse that you have posted. I have a John W. Thompson. born about 1800 I kow not where. I do know that arond 1824 he maried Francis T. Gray daughter of Thomas Gray and Patty Payne. Daughter of John payne. I don't know who John W. Parents Were. After about 1835 He setttled along with his wife and at least one child John G. Thompson my gg grandfather, on Coons Run Harrison Co. Virginia (WV) He John W. Thompson died about 1857 burried i believe in the old Brown cemetery at Brown VA. (WV). I am James W. McIntyre b. 1921 I would appreciate any help you would have. About the name that you mentioed Elizabeth Hurst. My wife's grandmother name was Elazibeth Hurst She was born at Hurst, VA (WV.) Married William Means he Served in the Civil War (Union) was captured at Atlanta GA. was a prisoner of War at The infamous Andresonville Prison in GA. Thank You.
