Jane, Thank you for providing the children of Jesse and Elizabeth Thompson. Were you able to glean anything from that Chancery Record I forwarded? There was discussion about a slave issue and Mildred (Jones) Thompson did have a daughter named "SARAH" who married NICKSON. This record talks about a Maryland connection. Let me know if you've already read this record because if you haven't, I think there may be some "nuggets" in it in the way of leads? I'll keep you posted if I run across anthing else.
