Jim, I am so glad you posted this. You have cleared up at least 2 questions for me. James Wheatley's Mary is one of them. Is the "Mary Morehead" you list as sister of Joseph Wheatley the one who m'd Thomas Massie, b. abt 1742-1745.? * Do you have these siblings of Joseph Wheatly as the children of George Wheatley & Mary Henry? .. If so, then the Mary Morehead with the bequest from Joseph Wheatley, is the Mary Wheatley who m'd John Morehead Jr. * John Morehead Jr & Mary Wheatley had a daughter, Mary 'Molly' Morehead, who m'd Thomas Massie, b.abt 1742 - 1745. ... After Mary 'Molly' (Morehead) Massie's death, Thomas Massie, m'd Dolly (Farrow) Graham, widow of Duncan Graham. After the death of John Morehead Jr, a George Morehead was the administrator of his estate. After many years, he sued to settle the squabble over this estate. This suit was valuable to separate the children of Thos Massie & Mary (Morehead) from the children of Thos Massie & Dolly (Farrow).
