We are still waiting on the DNA results on Moses Cushenberry that died in Bourbon Co., Ky in 1792 to see if he matches with the Aaron Quisenberry, Sr. family in Va or not whose sons are Rev. James Quisenberry and his brother John A. Quisenberry that was in Clark Co., Ky. While doing some research I found something very interesting. My 8th great grandparents are Evan Ragland Sr that married Susanna Pettus daughter of Stephen Pettus. Evan Ragland was born 1656 in St. Decumens, Somerset Co., England and died 30 May 1717 in New Kent Co., Va. I descend from their son Stephen Ragland who died 1747 in Northampton Co., NC and his daughter Agnes Ragland who first married Ephraim Merritt and after he died she married my grandfather Joseph Langston. This family moved to Logan Co., Ky. This is by other researchers : In Clark Co., Ky,. Nathaniel Thomas Ragland married Sallie Quisenberry daughter of Rev. James Quisenberry and Jane Burris. He was born 16 Mar 1801in Clark Co., Ky. and died 19 Sep 1882 in Clark County, Ky. He had a brother William Harrison Ragland that married Sallie Bush Quisenberry 20 Aug 1832 who is the daughter of Colby Burris Quisenberry and Lucy Bush. These Quisenberry's are not kin to me as I know of yet until the DNA results come back but these Ragland men would be distant cousins of my Ragland line from Evan Ragland, Sr and Susanna Pettus of Virginia.
