Hi Marianne, We sure do travel in similar circles. LOL! I've been seeing a Thomas Vivion in records around people I'm chasing. Had an idea to offer here about tracking Christopher Quisenbury. CHRISTOPHER QUISENBURY you mention below was around THO. JETT. Memo: Wheras Henry Drake hasa Lease dated 19th Nov 1733 for twenty years clear of any rent... sd Drake complying with the Lease in every particular 15th Oct 1747 Signed: Thos. Vivion Presence: M. Robinson, John Triplett, CHRISTOR. QUISENBURY, Harry Turner, Clapham Richardson, Tho. Jett I think THO. JETT was married to ELIZABETH STORKE 1757 in Westmoreland Co. Va. Elizabeth died and he remarried SUSANNAH 'SUKEY' WASHINGTON about 1774 in Westmoreland Co. Va. This is really twisting you back around but THOMAS JETT seems to have been SON of WILLIAM JETT and ANNE WHITE. I believe ANN WHITE was d/o GEORGE WHITE m. ELIZABETH BURKETT. ELIZABETH BURKETT was d/o JOHN BURKETT and ANN MILLS. I had found a THOMAS VIVION in below record with GEORGE WHITE who I believe was the one married to ELIZABETH BURKETT. I'm chasing MARY BURKETT who married 1st NEB. JONES, 2nd ? BROCK. I was seeing this THOMAS VIVION around some of my collats and chasing this name down as well. Is below Thomas Vivion your line? Thanks, Amanda KING GEORGE COUNTY ORDERS 1721-1723 King George County Court 1st of September 1721; pg 15 - JOHN SPICER by his Petition setting forth that he has intention to build a Mill on PAINE's DAM in the County aforesaid, but cannot proceed by .reason that JOHN VIVION and ELIZABETH his Wife, THOMAS VIVION and FRANCES his Wife, MARTHA THACKER and LETTICE THACKER, Spinsters, do own the land on the other side the said Creek and will not sell him an acres thereof; Whereupon it is considered by the Court and accordingly ordered that CORNELIUS EDMUNDS, THOMAS BROCK, GEORGE WHITE and JOHN GILBERT or any two of them being first sworn before some justices of the Peace for this County some time before the next Court to be held for the said County layoff and value an acre of the said JOHN VIVION and ELIZABITH his Wife, THOMAS VIVION and FRANCES his Wife, MARTHA THACKER and LITfICE THACKER Spinsters Land convenient on the said CREEK for the said JOHN SPICERs building a Mill thereon as aforesd. not taking away any Houses Orchards or the immediate conveniences of the parties aforesd.
