Hi Chocy, Thanks for all these good records you're sending. I'm seeing some really good clues for further digging. I wanted to comment on the the ELIZABETH PIGG name. I just completed my Colonial Dames of the XVII papers to prove my line back to GEORGE MOTT. I have been in communication with the head genealogist at Colonial Dames headquarters in DC. He told me that only ONE person had joined under Ellen Mott who was daughter of George Mott and that the research was very poor and needed new research. [He was telling me in a polite way that even though someone got in, the research and documentation was very iffy and I shouldn't rely on it for help to me.] I told him that I hoped the 261 pages of documentation that I would be sending would change all that! WINK. In all this, he sent me the latest application papers for someone who joined under ANN MOTT who was sister of ELLEN MOTT from the 90's. Nobody has proven that GEORGE MOTT's wife was Elizabeth Pigg. I am submitting my papers with her name as only "ELIZABETH" but showing the land record that had JOHN PIGG as possible father in law candidate of GEORGE MOTT. If anyone can provide me with a specific land record, will etc. that references that JOHN PIGG had a daughter "ELIZABETH PIGG" and that it would show with clarity that ELIZABETH PIGG was wife of GEORGE MOTT, I would really appreciate this information. My papers won't get sent in until September so I'm truly open to be fully educated on wife "ELIZABETH" of GEORGE MOTT. Just wanted people to know because if I've overlooked some records, I sure as shoot'en need to know. LOL! Thanks so much!
