As I have posted before Edwin Conway, Sr. and Martha Eltonhead are my 9th great grandparents. I have come across some Maryland records that I am hoping someone has knowledge of and can add to what I am posting. It appears they were in Maryland with William Eltonhead in Maryland as these records suggest. Item for 1 Hoe 30, Item 2 shutes of powder & shott to Gant, Item more il of powder, Item 4' of shott, Item one paire of Shoes 20, Item discompted with Martin Kirke for you 120, Item discompted with H. The plts being for three hundred and fifty pounds of Tobacco p Accompt And the defend't confessing the debt It is ordered that hee the said defend't shall pay vnto the said MR CONNOWAY or to MR ELTONHEAD for his vse Three hundred and nynety pounds of Tobacco and Caske " Date: 1654 p. 406: Court and Testimony Business, 1654 " It is ordered that the ESTATE of THOMAS CONNERY Shall be Liable to pay unto MR.
