Could anyone with expertise please explain this to me. Edwin Conway, Sr that married Martha Eltonhead is my 9th great grandparents. His death date is much sooner than Rev. Horace Hayden gave in the Glassell book. Here are two more records found at the Library of Virginia on reels.....: Patent Title Connaway[Conway], Edwin.                         Publication 26 September 1678. I guess they recorded later. Looks like Edwin Sr. died ca 1659 although I have a record of 1660/61 in these records Edwin Conway, Sr was still living according to this date:.... Source:  Va Col. This is from Lancaster County Minute records.. not Hayden in the Glassell book who has the death record wrong....  (Source:  Va Col.  Abstracts--Lancaster County. p. 11) Lancaster Court  Session 14  March 1660/61. Minute Bk. p. 141.  Com. of Administration on the Est. of Mr. Edwin Connoway dec' to Henry Corbyn. Any help in understanding these dates and when Edwin Conway, Sr actually died would be very much appreciated.
