Marrianne, I have 6 Landon CARTERs, but none connected as a son to a John CARTER, except Charles CARTER who may have been called by Landon as Pat said there was a Charles CARTER that went by Landon. I do have two Charles Landon CARTERs; but their fathers were not named John CARTER. Pat statement makes sense, as the Charles CARTER, son of this John CARTER may have had the middle name of Landon, like the others. (given names in these connecting families, as you know, just keep right on repeating themeselves--------they must have drove each other crazy if they all got together at a gathering!) If I knew that the "Secretary" John CARTER had a son named Wormley, then I would be more sure that I had the right family. Chocy
Well, in saying that I have lost the poster who had the dates. Do you have the dates ?
