Hi Renee, I had thought that at first too about CHARLES JONES possibly being son of William Jones and Nancy Eustace but had found that his son CHARLES JONES was not married to ANN CHILDS. What I found for certain was a WILLIAM G. A. JONES being administrator on estate of Elizabeth Waugh who was sister of CHARLES JONES as he was appointed guardian of TABITHA WAUGH who was niece of CHARLES JONES. I also found WILLIAM G. A. JONES [but I think the 1820 King George County Census has him listed as William A. G. Jones just a line above Charles Jones. There's a group of Jones all there together and I believe a George Jones and possibly a George Mott Jones. A researcher by name of Bill Deyo thinks that my line of Jones might tie back to the George Jones line that married Priscilla Elkins. I have direct line back to George Mott. Also, Benjamin Stigler whose son James Stigler m. Mildred Reeds and had Elizabeth Betsy Stigler m. Robert King McConchie who was first cousin to Ann Childs m. Charles Jones, had a Philip Peed witness on his will. ================================================================ Defendant James Jones Deponent / Affiant William G.A. I think he has to be descended from Alexander Doniphan who was a son of Mott Doniphan who was nephew of my Ellen Mott m. Richard Shippey whose great granddaughter was Elizabeth Stigler m.
