In 1953 she was in the Presidental Inaugural Parade for Dwight D. Eisenhower with an authentic Wells Fargo Stage. She was called, “The First Lady of Fox Hunting”. Her husband was Robert Campbell Winmill who has the dates of 8/22/1883 - 1/31/1957. Buried in the Warrenton Cemetery. Raymond Warren GILL, born 6/20/1923, died at age 74 on 5/2/1998. As a young man he worked as a horseman, caring for horses until he went into the Navy during WWII. Upon returning, he took care of the ponies owned by Mrs. Viola WINMILL at Whiffletree Farm on Springs Road.
