In 1880 and 1900 he was a farmer at Center, Fauquier County, Virginia. He married Josephine Horner CAMPBELL, b. ABT 1856 in Virginia, USA, d. 18 Sep 1910, buried in Warrenton, Virginia, USA. Her death announcement lists her as a widow. Children: i. Edgar Wolton WINMILL, b. ABT 1881 in Center, Fauquier, Virginia, USA, occupation manger stock exchange 1930. No children listed with him or Bertha 1930. Marriage year as per 1930 census data. He married Bertha X, married ABT 1914, b. ABT 1881 in New York state, USA. 2. ii. W.E. Sudduth of the original funeral home, gave the hearst he used to the WINMILLS to put in their carriage collection. She put it to use again. In 1953 she was in the Presidental Inaugural Parade for Dwight D. Eisenhower with an authentic Wells Fargo Stage. She was called, “The First Lady of Fox Hunting”. Her husband was Robert Campbell Winmill who has the dates of 8/22/1883 - 1/31/1957. Buried in the Warrenton Cemetery. Raymond Warren GILL, born 6/20/1923, died at age 74 on 5/2/1998. As a young man he worked as a horseman, caring for horses until he went into the Navy during WWII. Upon returning, he took care of the ponies owned by Mrs. Viola WINMILL at Whiffletree Farm on Springs Road.
