    1. [VAFAUQUI] BENJAMIN F. McCONCHIE and GEORGE W. McCONCHIE were BROTHERS
    2. Amanda E. Douglass
    3. Artie, Yes. For a fact, Benjamin F. McConchie who was buried at Warrenton Cemetery was a BROTHER of George W. McConchie who married Mary J. Bray. There's a Virginia Chancery Record about Joseph Stigler vs. George Stigler that shows all the relationships of children of James Stigler and Mildred. I used this record to prove that Elizabeth Stigler m. Robert King McConchie and that they were parents of our George W. McConchie and it shows that Benjamin F. McConchie was also a son by Robert King McConchie Benjmain F. McConchie was the only brother to our George W. McConchie. Brothers of Robert King McConcihe who married Elizabeth Stigler were William A. Mcconchie and Alexander McConchie. [June's line is William A. McConchie] Remember we were so puzzled and thought that since Alexander McConchie was a witness on marriage of George W. McConchie to Mary J. Bray that Alexander must have been the father of our George. Nope. He was an UNCLE of our George. Bless June because we went round and round for a year before we nailed this. I have proven Elizabeth Stigler's great grandmother DAR Partriot Mary/Martha Stigler for DAR. I have all the records. Furthermore, I think Mary/Martha Stigler was a Harrison. I think she was VERY LIKELY the daughter of Richard Harrison who married 1st Elizabeth Woffendall. DAR Patriot Mary/Martha used her name in ONE single document as "MARTHA" and then turned around said "MARY" thus the confusion about her name. Had I not had this one document, I never would have been able to prove this. I have the document that showed this and she was the MOTHER of BENJAMIN STIGLER who had the son JAMES STIGLER who married MILDRED [REEDS] BROWN who was nee MILDRED REEDS, d/o of SAMUEL REEDS and JAEL [Undrewood] Shippey. [I have Charlene REEDS-EBELING to thank for so much of these records regarding lines back to GEORGE MOTT of Northen Neck.] I haven't gotten too far into this but below daughter MARTHA is who I think married JAMES STIGLER whose grandson James Stigler m. Mildred [Reeds] Brown. Robert Harrison, born in old Rappahannock County north of the river in North Farnham Parish, Oct. 23 1674, the son of Andrew and Thomasine Harrison (from North Farnham Parish Register) Old Rappahannock County was divided in 1692 into Essex county, that part South of the Rappahannock River and Richmond County that part north of the river. Robert married 1st Elizabeth Woffendall but was married 2nd to a MARY per his will. Will of Robert Harrison, Richmond county will book, 4 p. 148. Mentions wife Mary; daughters Pricillia, Martha and Mary; all under age; sons Robert, Aaron, William and George: brother Andrew. [He would have been an UNCLE to Martha.] Son Robert is bequeathed 100 A. and son Aaron 50 A. given him by will of Adam Woffendall. (evidently sons by his first marriage.) Three daughters given to wife and in case of her death or marriage to brother Andrew Harrison. Executors, wife and son Robert. Dated June 25, 1719-20. Proved April 6, 1720. Richmond County, Virginia; WILL BOOK 4, 1717-1725 p.148 - Robert HARRISON, will; 25 Jan 1719, 6 Apr 1720 son William 50 ac. of land part of 150 ac. given me by Adam WOFFENDALL; son Robert half the tract I now live on when he reaches age 18; the other half to my wife Mary and after her death, to son George; son Aaron the other 100 ac. of the land given me by Adam WOFFENDALL when he reaches age 18; daus. James Stigler and Mary/Martha also had son Samuel Stigler who was brother of Benjamin Stigler whose son James Stigler m. Mildred [Reeds] Brown. Note Robert Stringfellow. He married Catherine Stigler who was AUNT of James Stigler m. Mildred Reeds whose daughter Elizabeth 'Betsy' Stigler m. Robert King McConchie. 1764 King George County, Virginia - Indenture of James & Martha Stigler giving land to son Samuel Stigler. Witnesses: Robert Peck; Robert Stringfellow; and Joseph Stigler. The land of Benjamin Strother fell into King George Countv in 1721 and those records abound with genealogical material in regard to the Strother family." Below JAMES STIGLER was married to MARY/MARTHA who I think was a daughter of Robert Harrison and Elizabeth Woffendall. I think below GEOGE HARRISON was a brother of MARY/MARTHA STIGLER and I think Benjamin Strother was a son in law of ADAM WOFFENDALL. 1749 King George County, Virginia - Inventory/estate for George HARRISON.
