Spirit of Jefferson Farmers Advocate Charles Town WV Thursday March 25, 1948 Columbus Marshall Utterback, about 75 died at the home of his daughter early Saturday morning. Born in Hume VA March 26 1873, He was the son of John and Mariah Edwards Utterback. He spent most of his life in Fauquier Co where he engaged in farming. He movd to Jefferson County about 20 years ago. Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter Vallie Kenney of Charles Town and a son Ward Utterback of Baltimore MD. Thursday March 3, 1949 Mattie Jenkins Utterback who had been making her home with her daughter Vallie Kenney in the Daniel F. Myers residence, North of Charles Town died Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. Born in Luray VA March 29, 1883, she was the daughter of James M. and Annie Elizabeth Jenkins of Luray. Her husband died a year ago she is survived by her daughter and a son Ward Utterback of Baltimore MD. Three sisters and four brothers. They are buried in Edge Hill Cemetery in Charles Town WV.
