Surnames: Pritchartt, Turley, Simpson, Deneale, Pollard, Johnnymore Classification: Deed Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/SBC.2ACI/419 Message Board Post: Fairfax County Deed Book 1798-1800 pp. 511-514 This Indenture made this 15th day of February in the year of our Lord 1800; Between Sampson TURLEY and Martha his wife and James TURLEY (Son of Sampson) and Ann his wife of County of Fairfax of one part and LEWIS PRITCHARD of the same County of the other part, Witnesseth that Sampson Turley and Martha his Wife and James Turley and Ann his wife in consideration of the sum of seven hundred and fifty five pounds current money of Virginia to them in hand paid by LEWIS PRITCHARD, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have and by these presents do bargain and sell unto Lewis PRITCHARD his heirs all that tract of land situated on JOHNNYMORE's Run being a Branch of BULL RUN and in the County of Fairfax containing by a late Survey four hundred and nineteen acres, one Rod and twenty nine poles, being part of a larger tract taken up and patened by JOHN WAUGH and abounded; Beginning at a marked white Oak being a corner to WAUGH, GIBSON and this tract and standing on a Ridge, runni! ng thence North thirty five degrees West eighty nine and a half poles to two small box Oaks, thence North thirty one degrees Easy one hundred and seventy seven poles to a parcel of split Bushes, thence North sixty nine degrees East one hundred and nineteen poles to a red bank on the before mentioned JOHNYMORE Run, thence down JOHNNYMORE's RUN and binding with the meanders thereof it several courses and distance to where John Gibson's line crosses the same being just below a large white Oak standing on the bank of the Run and on the West side thereof, then running with John Gibson's line South seventy two degrees West one hundred and forty four poles to the beginning white Oak and the rents issues and profits thereof, To LEWIS PRITCHARD and heirs and SAMPSON TURLEY and Martha his Wife and by these presents; In Witness whereof SAMPSON TURLEY and Martha his Wife and JAMES TURLEY and Ann his Wife have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written.
