Fairfax Herald August 19, 1927 page 5 Obituary of Cora Pritchartt Williams begin; Had Relatives Here - Mrs. Cora Pritchartt Williams, the widow of General James H Williams, C S A, died at her residence in Woodstock, August 13, in the 88th year of her age, and was buried there August 15. She was Miss Cora Pritchartt, daughter of Lewis S. Pritchartt and Roxanna Grigsby Pritchartt, formerly of this county. She was born in Fairfax county and was a first cousin to Mrs. Elmira V Holbrook, Mrs. Madge R Pierce and Miss Monimia Fairfax Richardson and F.W. Richardson, of this town. end. Notes; Cora Pritchartt was born Cora DeMovell Pritchartt and daughter of said. She died in Shenandoah County and buried in Masanutten Cemetery there. From research as of this writing, most of her family died during the Civil War. Her father Samule Lewis Pritchartt lived in Fairfax County, however little can found on him. It is believed he changed the spelling of the name from Pritchard or Pritchartd.
