Also the Fairfax Society of England indicates either Maryland Branch or Virginia Branch of Fairfax folks are North American immigrants before 1850's. Micajah Fairfax, 1800 Bladen County, NC Census was possibly married to a Lady JERNIGAN. The FAIRFAX and JERNIGAN and STRICKLAND and ANDERSON folks bounced around both Columbus County, NC and Horry County, SC in the 1800's and remnants of all Family Names remain in the counties today ...{:). Maybe sumpin' will turn up in a yard sale one year?! ...{:). Judy and I have shared FAIRFAX FAMILY WEB SITE stuff ... please keep me in your loop!!!! .... {:) THANKS!!! You'd think with a name like that it wouldn't be a brick wall. Have you been in contact with Judy Davis? She's got a lot of Fairfax info. Her e-mail is [email protected] Keep me posted on any info you might get. ==== VAFAIRFA Mailing List ==== E-mail List Mom at mailto:[email protected] http://www.rootsweb.com/~vafairfa/ ============================== Visit Ancestry.com for a FREE 14-Day Trial and enjoy access to the #1 Source for Family History Online.
