I will take time to share my information on the 1770 Broadsides which is a printed form George Washington had printed and posted at various points around Fairfax County requesting signatures of Fairfax County residents who would agree not to purchase from England as a protest to taxation. I believe it costs $1 from Fairfax County Publications and every researcher should have a copy and check to see if they,as I , find their ancestor listed.
