Surnames: Summers, Somers, Swartz Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/SBC.2ACI/679 Message Board Post: Has anyone been able to connect the Martin Swartz, onboard the St. Andrew in 1738, with shipmate Johann Georg Somers and his family, from Wuerttemburg? A younger Martin Swartz married Georg's daughter Maria Eva Somers in Shenandoah, Virginia around 1770. I believe they are the same two men, but would like some solid proof.
