Also no entry in Index to "Fairfax Co Va Register of Marriages 1853-1933" by Ring. From the 1860 Washington DC Census, page 433: J. B. Schott, 64y, messenger in U.S. Senate, b. Pa Nancy Schott, 60y, b. Pa Anna V. Schott, 23y, b. Pa J. T. Moss, 28y, clerk in post office, b. Va Lilly Moss, 3y, b. Washington William Moss, 17/12 [?], b. Washington It is very probable that they were married in Washington, D.C. I would suggest you post a query on the Washington DC email list to see if anyone has a copy of the following and would be willing to do a lookup.
