Oh my gosh! I am mired deep into the John's of this line. Ann Farr...Ann (nee) Ratcliffe's sister is my 8th ggGrandmother...Elizabeth...I have everything on this family and have been stymied by this information below...There is court record which states that a slave was bequeathed to 'Sara' being their niece (meaning cousin of John, Ann Farr, and Elizabeth Ratcliffe Steele) Whose child was she? I would appreciate any help...I have every record known to man...and still can't get my John straight nor who Sarah's Father really is... Would it be Ann and a "Sims"...Susanna Sims was present during one of the court appearances regarding the death of Sam. Farr Ann Ratcliffe's husband in C.Co.MD...
