Surnames: Marion Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/SBC.2ACI/391 Message Board Post: Found an article printed in the "Virginia Journal and Alexandria Advertiser" on 18 Apr 1786 regarding some "covenanted servants" that ran away from the Potomac Company, Great Falls. They had stolen clothes to make good their get-away so they couldn't be described at length. Was wondering if anyone had any idea what the "Potomac Company" was? Any help would be greatly appreciated as one of my ancestors is one of the listed men that ran away. Thank you, Cindy
