Hi Victoria, I have second-hand information on a line of FARRs descending from Samuel FARR b. abt 1747 and Ann RATCLIFF and their only child, Samuel Ratcliff FARR born 1772, several months after his father's death. There are 5 generations down to those born in the 1880's. Connecting names are: Generation 2: WILCOXON Generation 3: DAVIS, BROADWATER, WILCOXON Generation 4: HORN, MALONE Generation 5: HEAD, SMITH, MARIGOLD, WILEY, FRANZONI I have no specific locations within Fairfax County for any of these. The WILCOXONS came from MD to Fairfax Co. about 1787; the RATCLIFFs also came from MD some time before 1770. I have very little information on my paternal side of the family. My dad's mom was a Farr and are supposed to be descended from the Farrs of the Herndon/Dranesville area? Other names I am researching are Owens, Richstein, Hutchinson, and VanGueder.
