FRYE b. March 1844 Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. After the Civil War, he settled in Washington DC. Where in 1880 he married Anna Wilhemina SCHLORB. Anna b. abt 1859 DC d/o William SCHLORB & Mary Margaret KILLIAN. James & Anna had the following children: 1. Joseph b. Oct 1881 DC 2. James H. Jr. b. Aug. 1883 DC 3. Ethel M. b. abt 1884/88 DC 4. George L. b. abt 1886 DC 5. John C. b. abt 1888 DC 6. Readus b. abt 1898/90 In the early part of 1900 James H. owned the "Springfield" farm in Fairfax Co. VA, later that year he bought a tract of land in Seat Pleasant, Prince George's Co. MD. In 1920, his son, John C. lived on the "Springfield" Farm. James H. Jr. & George L. Frye also lived in Mt. Vernon, Fairfax Co. VA. Joseph lived in Anacostia, MD. Ethel & Readus lived with their parents in Seat Pleasant, MD. James H. Jr. d. 29 Dec 1951 Engleside, Fairfax Co. VA. He married Leathy Ellen SCHLORB bef 1912. Leathy was the d/o George L. SCHLORB & Mary Ellen DONALDSON. They had the following children: 1. Alexis b. abt 1912 VA 2. James H. b. 08 Nov 1913 VA d. 1988 3. George b. abt 1916 4. Mena b. abt 1918 d. 1986 5. John C. b. abt 1919 6. Mary 7. Ethel b. 1925 d. 1996 8. Montgomery 9. Mell 10. Delano M. b. 25 May 1931 d. 1996 George L. Frye married Blanchard Unknown. On the 1920 Census, they had two children: Leonard G. b. abt 1911 and Marie b. 1919. John C. Frye b. abt 1888 married Mrs. Grace KILLIAN. On the 1920 Census, they had one daughter: Ethel M. b. abt 1912. Also on the Census, living with them was Grace's two brothers, Eugene Killian b. abt 1899 and Chas. W. Killian b. abt 1887. And a cousin, Frank P. MEIKS. John C. & Grace also had a son: John C.
