Since we are on the subject I`ll put in my info. I spent many yrs. trying to make a connection to the Fairfax family because my ggrandfather was named "Orlando Fairfax Hoskins" only to reinterview my grandmother and hear her say that her father was named for "Lord" Fairfax because "our" ancestor had come to America from Scotland on the same ship as Lord Fairfax and they became very good friends." Now if I just knew what ship Lord Fairfax may have returned to America "on" then I would have the ship and info. of "my ancestor" Alas, that info. has alluded me for 30 yrs. now. any suggestions greatly appreciated.
