Hello, I am new to this list, so I wanted to post an introduction. I currently live in Kansas, but my family's roots are in the northern VA and DC area. Unfortunately I do not get back as often as I would like to do hands on research. I am researching primarily the surname ELLIOTT and it's spelling variations, in Fairfax and surrounding areas. I have specific connections to Alexandria, Wash DC, Georgetown, etc. I would like to hear from anyone with an ELLIOTT connection in the area, as I am attempting to sort out all of these families, and have made a number of family groupings so far.
