She would be one child of George. Since George left his "military " land to his gr. son, George must have served in the Rev. war. Deeds in Caswell Co., N.C. identify his other children as John and James. So far I have not found a marriage bond for Sythe & James Lanman. Caswell Co. was not formed until 1777, which might mean they were married somewhere else. Who knows where? Could be any place. Many times in genealogy you have to use some reasoning and assumptions, because records are not available. My assumptions are not engraved in stone. I am open to someone else's proof.
