    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Gibson, Parker, Howard Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/SBC.2ACI/667 Message Board Post: I don't normally post to this website, but for anyone interested in learning more about a newly registered historical cemetery, which may contain the remains of emancipated African Americans from the 1800s, you will want to read this article on the Gibson Parker Cemetery, which is located at the intersection of Guinea Road and Little River Turnpike on the edge of Fairfax, VA. In case the link doesn't work, it's from The Connection Newspapers, entitled, "Historic Cemetery Halts Road Project -- Guinea Road Cemetery may be eligible for National Register of Historic Places." By Lauren Glendenning April 20, 2006 http://www.connectionnewspapers.com/article.asp?article=64527&paper=61&cat=104 I do not have any further information on this cemetery and am not related to these surnames.
