Blanche Stewart is a sister to my wife's Grandmother. We've been trying to find something out on Blanche for some time now. We just looked again at a bible entry we have, all it said was Russell Allshire died July 18, 1938. We've looked at that page many times and never paid any attention to it. I just came back from Columbus main library today with his obituary. We know Blanche was born in July 5th, 1894 in Lincoln Co, W. Va. The obit states Russell's mother was Blanche Ailshire, father was Jesse Ailshire from Los Angeles, CA, and a sister Mrs Edward Smith. We have info on Ulysses, his lst and 2nd wife. Have his obit and death cert, along with his 2nd wife's as well. It's the Cherokee Indian Mother that interests us the most - Alwilda Roberts. We have not been able to find out any info on her what so ever. We're pretty sure her father is S. B. Roberts. Beyond that, ! who knows. We'll be watching for your reply.
