I understood that he had 2 marriages: the 1st to Seth Harrison, who died young with no children, the 2nd to Mary Blake, mother of his children. However, it is true most researchers state that it is unknown about who was the mother of his children: Seth or Mary? My ancestor, Old John's son George named a child Seth Blake Somers, undoubtedly after the 2 women mentioned above.
