Go on Google with the name John Wise (1617-1695) of Accomack Co. VA. He was mentioned as a Colonel, why I do not know, and married Hannah Scarborough from a Col. Edmund Scarborough. and are my grandparents. By finding this, the record goes back about 13 generations. I wonder about the facts to all that. Good luck, Luanne Spence Taylor
