Could I ask for another favor of info? On the Chopawamsic Baptist Church records in Stafford County (was situated on connecting boarder of Prince William and Stafford County) in 1767 was (what looks like a couple) John Summers and an Elizabeth Summers. Other Summers listed there are Thezeah Summers, Samuel Summers. I believe this to be John Summers who was married to an Elizabeth Carter ( her last name not proven yet). Could you tell me how many John Summers there were in that area of Virginia at that time? Do you know the identity of the John Summers at Chopawamsic Baptist Church? I believe he might be the same John Summers who went on later to Clark County, Kentucky. I believe one of the John Summers of Clark County, Ky. to be the John Summers who lived past 114 years old. In the an 1818 Kentucky Gazette was an article on a Montgomery County, Kentucky John Summers at age 112. He was born July 12, 1706. Any help figuring out which John Su! mmers this is would be appreciated. He was probably from Prince William County, Va. The other John Summers in Clark and Montgomery County, Ky. was the John Summers born 1764 whom married Agnes Bell, he stated in his pension papes that he was born in Prince William County, Virginia. I believe he was the son of the John Summers who lived past 114 years old. The 1820 census for Delaware County, Indiana has a John Summers 114 years old, the census taker added a note about him in the margin. there are several statements found from grandchildren of this man, stating he lived to be between 116-119. He had moved on to Indiana with his children. I would appreciate any info to identify this "Old" John Summers.
