Hi Folks, I'm looking for information about Harrison Jenkins (b. abt 1810). I found him in the 1870 census for Loudoun Co., living near Farmwell. He and his wife, Delilah, had the following children: Nancy, Allen, Elijah, Rebecca, Harrison, William, Sampson, and Nellie. There may also have been two other daughters, Ellen and Virginia, who died before the1870 census, as they are in the 1860 census for Fairfax Co., but are not listed with the family in 1870. It is possible that the Harrison Jenkins mentioned above died near Dranesville, in Loudoun or Fairfax County, in March 1875, as there was an obituary notice in the Alexandria Gazette for a Harrison Jenkins of Dranesville who died in March 1875. I may also have found his and Delilah Jenkins (maiden name) marriage record in DC in 1844. I'd like to know when did Harrison Jenkins die and where was he buried. Also, what happened to Delilah after Harrison's death? As she was only 50 years old when he died, she may have remarried. Any info on either of them would be great. Since Harrison and Delilah had a large family, there should be many descendants living today in Fairfax and Loudoun counties. Hopefully someone can help. Valerie
