I can't email individuals until I eliminate a virus and reformat my computer. I LOVED Ivy Chimneys when I lived there and also the house next door. It was wartime (l944-45) . Ivy Chimneys was so beautifully renovated in 1956 when I returned and saw it. I wonder who owns it now. Have you read about Dranesville in the Official Record of the War of the Rebellion (reference book) It also , if I remember, tells that the Doctors Day were captured or maybe one killed .
