    1. Re: [VAFairfax] Johnston/Johnson slaveowers
    2. Have some collected data on Dennis Johnston alive after 1853. Don't know who F Johnston could be. If you have dates, may have more based on what I have put together. ************************************* Over past 8 years have collected various information and saved. I have 1853 slave births - Fairfax Co transcribed by Sandra Foster that names a Dennis Johnston. It appears he also has an unmarried sister "Miss Johnson" who also provided information. There was in 1809 a Dennis Johnston who is listed with my namesake of interest PRITCHARTT in a document. Same one ??- not sure, but it so we know he is an adult in 1809, thus giving a birth date of possibly 1775? 1850 slave schedule also lists Dennis Johnston owns 40 slaves. Lots of clues here as to relationships - need to sort out.
