    1. Apology
    2. This is to apologize for a e-mail sent last Wednesday to this and other lists sent by my niece but written by me and I never intended it to be sent. Once written, my anger was released and I thought better. However, my niece can go from Lady to the word use for female dog in 4.2 seconds. I did not realize she had sent the message until the next morning. That being say, some good things came form the e-mail. 1. After a discussion with AOL, I now get it for $7.00 less. 2. Many e mails were sent in agreement. 3. The lady who ripped me off has now listed my research as hers on her web site, with the a Mulatto slave as the great grandfather of her husband. She said she did the research herself. 4. She sent to me updated information about her family with birthdays and maiden names of living people. Smart enough to ripped me off, dumb enough to send that information to a total stranger. On the downside after doing genealogical research for thirty-three years and having two articles published in The American Genealogist, I will now quit genealogy. I will leave it to the new breed of Internet Genealogists that have no sense of right or wrong. So no need to unsubscribe me for an apology, I will do that soon myself. Thank You Tonto Bernstein

    1. RE: [VAFairfax] Sibella Gibson is who? per will 1783-1784
    2. Dick and Betsy French
    3. Hi Anne, Sibella GIBSON was Sibella REAGAN, daughter of Michael REAGAN. Michael REAGAN's Will was proved 15 Nov 1773 in Fairfax Co. VA. A wife Rebecca was mentioned, who may or may not have been Sibella's mother. Sibella married 1) William DONALDSON Jr.; they had daughter Amelia/Mildred T. DONALDSON, who married 13 Mar 1779 in Fairfax County Gerrard Trammell CONN, son of Hugh CONN Jr. (b. 1723 in Prince George's Co. MD) and second wife Mary TRAMMELL. Sibella married 2) Robert GIBSON; they had son John GIBSON. If there were other children of Sibella's two marriages, they haven't been found. Amelia DONALDSON is called "Mildred" in her grandfather Michael REAGAN's Will, but I suspect that's because her nickname was "Millie", and he may have thought it stood for "Mildred" (not a very observant grandpa). "Amelia" is the name passed down by her children; there were no granddaugh- ters named Mildred. Sibella's sister Margaret REAGAN married William ASHFORD, but the timing seems off for her still to have been Margaret ASHFORD who witnessed Sibella's Will. William ASHFORD disappeared from Fairfax County records between 1760-1764, having presumably died. Margaret married 2) Lancelot JOHNSON, so it seems that she would have been Margaret JOHNSON by the time Sibella wrote her Will. Perhaps Margaret ASHFORD was an unmarried daughter (no record of her, however) and Sibella's niece. 3. Bob in Annadale. Bob, I just learned about this resource, Heritage Quest, a resource for census data. Loudoun Library offers the service, Fairfax does not. You can take your Fairfax Library card to a Loudoun branch, (I went to the one off of Rt 7 behind Home Depot in the Cascades) and within 10 minutes I registered. I now research the census from my home. jody ----- Original Message ----- From: "ROBERT EPP" <rdepp@verizon.net> To: <VAFAIRFA-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, April 16, 2005 8:12 AM Subject: [VAFairfax] Henry Bramson Anderson > Henry Bramson Anderson was born 6 March 1831, probably in Fauquir > County, VA.
