Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/SBC.2ACI/639 Message Board Post: Hi, I've just started looking at this board & haven't quite figured it out yet. And I'm probably jumping the gun since I'm still gathering my notes. (and trying to raise new baby) I'm Jill Neitzey - father: Duane Neitzey grandfather: Howard Wilfred Neitzey (VA & TX) &Dorothy great grandfather: Christian Edwin Neitzey & Ruth 1ST COUSIN: Melissa Stern - HI GIRL!! & on & on I have a huge list of just about every Neitzey name under the sun! Now I'm trying to fill in the blanks. I don't have a membership here yet. But my mom did & gathered most of what is on this geneology site. I'm gathering the list in order of birth dates. I've quit a bit. Also pictures which I'm going to get scanned in this month. I've got info back as far as the Fishery info on Capt Neitzey. I would love to start sharing what I can. Your best bet is to email me, like I said, this board is still a little confusing yet. I also have a pretty big list started of other family names. Hope to chat soon, Jill Neitzey in Alaska

    3. http://dir.groups.yahoo.com/dir/Government___Politics/ You might have better luck searching through yahoo's political and government groups for a place to share your thoughts. Regardless of our individual beliefs on politics etc. A genealogical mail list is not where such topics are welcomed. Our lists are a place where we search for clues of our ancestors. There are so many places for other topics on the net, please explore them thoroughly, I think you will find one that your message would fit in and be welcome or at least happily debated by the other members. 3. Hi everyone, This information came from another mailing list, I thought someone may find helpful... "LDS Family History Library has announced that it has begun the process of digitizing and making available on the Internet all of the Family History books in their collection. About 5000 books have been digitized and are available, and they have announced that they are adding about 100 titles a week to the on-line collection. Copyright issues are playing a role in determining the order in which they progress through this task; books out of copyright are being done first." Go to the web site of the Harold B. Lee Library at BYU, http://www.lib.byu.edu/ then on the home page, from the list of collections that are displayed, follow the links: Find Other Materials; Electronic; On Line Collections at BYU; Text Collections tab; Family History Archive, Search Fran
