Neitzey b.1922, my grandmother Dorothy L. Huffman Neitzey. I have a list of approx 190+ Neitzey names in order of birthdate. With maiden names. etc. Several I've seen mentioned here in question. I also have old photos: Christian & Ruth Neitzey -my great grandparents, I met Ruth once when I was 16yrs old before she died. Christian & Ruth with Charles & his son. I have one of Ruth Isabella Bartle or Bartlett (seems to be some descrepancy) Christian Neitzey w/ his guard dogs at Mt. Vernon, the one that was in the second edition of National Geographic magazine (my dad still has a copy) Christian Neitzey on front porch of Mt. Vernon Christian, Ruth & Howard Neitzey Several of Howard Neitzey age 8 & WWII pics And a few more but some are still living... so I don't know about sending those out right now. Well, it doesn't sound like you've been researching very long. You'd probably be flabergasted if you knew how many John Neitzey's there have been. I've seen Shane's name show up thru the internet. But since people alive don't want to talk. You'll need more info about dead ones. Do you know where John Neitzey was born, birth date, full name, wifes name, his parents name, where any of his relatives are buried ???? Do you have any of Johns brothers names ??? The age of the people can help a bit, especially w/ the John's. I have just a few notes on the Maryland Neitzey's & I'm trying to figure where they fit. So any more info you can get out of anybody would help. I'm sorry I can't help more , tell me what you find out, & I'll see if we can make some headway. His name was John Thomas Smith. He is buried at the Jack and Lizzie Pearson cemetary on Burke Lake Road in Fairfax, VA (The old Greater Little Zion Baptist Chruch site). My father Harry Louis Smith is buried next to him his birth date is August 21, 1942 and death is March 12, 1990. There is no record of my grandmother being buried there but I have been told that she is as well as my uncle William Smith and his wife Bernice Smith. Please help me if possible...Thank You

James Barden married Nancy LATTIMORE/LATIMER about 1800/1810 in Fairfax or Loudoun Co. and had children:1) Jane E. BARDEN b. 1812 who married Henry BIXLER in 1831, 2) James William BARDEN b. 1815. 3) Fielder Stewart BARDEN b. 1817, 4)Mary Ann Barden b. 1819 and married Stephen D. FARR. James BARDIN Sr. died 8 Apr 1852 and was buried at the M. E. Methodist Church in Fairfax Co, Virginia. I am also looking for a death date for his wife Nancy (LATTIMORE/LATMER) BARDEN who died before 1852. This Nancy (LATIMER) BARDEN was the daughter of William LATIMER. Thank you David Smith

John Summers, with order to inventory estate: Crozier, William Armstrong. VA Col. Militia 1651-1776. 1965 p. 99. Listed John Summers as Drummer in Middlesex Co. militia. He married: Elizabeth Thompson daughter of Will Thompson & Eleanor Montague. She was dead by Nov. 1694. (2nd) Ann Minns (Widow of Thomas Minns) (3) Elizabeth ? by 14 Jun 1702. After his death she married John Hickey in 1704: then Edward Pendergrast in 1711. Ann Farr...Ann (nee) Ratcliffe's sister is my 8th ggGrandmother...Elizabeth...I have everything on this family and have been stymied by this information below...There is court record which states that a slave was bequeathed to 'Sara' being their niece (meaning cousin of John, Ann Farr, and Elizabeth Ratcliffe Steele) Whose child was she? I would appreciate any help...I have every record known to man...and still can't get my John straight nor who Sarah's Father really is... Would it be Ann and a "Sims"...Susanna Sims was present during one of the court appearances regarding the death of Sam. Farr Ann Ratcliffe's husband in C.Co.MD...
