I have a theory that my line of Vanpelts passed through Virginia on their way from Bucks county Pennsylvania to Kentucky . That would explain the scarcity of information in Culpeper county on the Vanpelts. They just weren't there long. Can you give me info on the Vanpelt's in Fauquier? I believe there was a Samuel there in the 1770's or 1780's that I am related to. Do you have any information on a Joseph Vanpelt? I believe him to be my direct ancestor and the father of William.
