Joseph d 1-21-1854 either Morgan Co IL or Greene Co IL.(Nancy d 9-13-1835 same place.Both buried Ceres Cem in Greene Co IL.Nancy was a d/o Elisha or Elijah Sorrells b c 1754 Va and Elizabeth (?) b c 1763 Va.I have 8 children of Joseph and Nancy with spouses and dates.From the evidence ,they left Amherst 1800-1805,were in Bath Co Ky 1805-1808,in Fleming Co Ky 1808-1810,and appear in the Orange Co IN census in 1830 ,Morgan Co Il\l by 1835,Greene b Co IL in 1840 and Morgan Co IL by 1850.This info all courtesy of other Sorrell researchers.If I can help you further let me know.
