This is a long shot, but I'm hoping for some help!!! A few years ago I was in the Culpeper Public Library doing research and found an early map (1790's or earlier) showing land grants (I think) along the James River and surrounding areas. I remember finding the name Jesse Lowe as a property owner, but at the time I had no idea my Lowe's had been in VA. I have since found out that this was my 4ggrandfather. I'm wondering if anyone has access to this map showing property owners, and if so could someone verify this for me and get the information off of the map? Any help will be greatly appreciated!
