Hi, I am seeking someone on this list that lives in Culpeper County in the Culpeper/ Stevensburg area that would be willing to do some first hand looking for me reasonably. Could someone tell me if plat maps, tax rolls, etc. exist for Culpeper County from 1835-1860? Is there a way to find out whether someone was a landowner, rented land or was a share cropper? If someone was in the carpenter trade prior to 1863 in Culpeper County, say from 1835 to 1863, would people in trades such as this be in a special listing or directory?
