Hi! I need some help on researching the PULLIN / PULLINS family. I have Loftus PULLIN, born approximately 1718, place unknown. Loftus settled in present day Highland Co., VA in about 1745 (on a John Lewis/James Patton patent). He married Ann Jane USHER in about 1740 - 1750. Ann Jane had two sisters. Margaret USHER married William STUART and Martha USHER married Col. James DICKERSON. Their marriages were somewhere in VA, but place and dates remain a mystery. Loftus died in Bath Co., VA in 1802 (Bath Co. Will Book 1). I am seeking any information on any of the above names. More specifically, the parents and siblings of Loftus PULLIN and where did the marriage to Ann Jane take place. From online listings I think there may be a connection to Culpeper Co., VA Any information on the immigration to the Virginia Colony or early VA by the PULLIN or USHER families would be appreciated as well.
